When asked at Cyn By The Sea what the most powerful moment in LFN was, I had to come up with two. One of them for me was the moment of Birkoff's death.   I cannot tell you how deeply I was affected by that and how shocked I was that TPTB took that action. It was a truly "powerful" moment in the series and it was felt deeply by many of the fans.  I sat staring at the screen dumbfounded for quite a while afterward, pondering that moment. Your portrayal of Seymour Birkoff made that happen. Kristen, I have to also agree, I was floored!
It was one of the best performances that I had seen,
from any of the LFN Cast Members by far.
It killed me, felt like a family member had died, I couldnt believe it, I cried so much, actually sobbed. Sat in a room by myself and couldnt believe what I just saw.
I never saw it coming, and I wish it never did.
I thought about it for days, and learned that fans worldwide felt the same about him, they too were devasted. The following week, when he returned as Jason, the feelings I had when I saw Matthew return, were indescribable.
He had my respect long before that, but secured it for a lifetime....I will continue to follow his career.

Well what more can I possibly say about the most gifted actor and the best looking Birthday guy on the face of this earth? I think words are not enough. Every performance of yours that I've seen has been nothing short of so insightful and absolutely amazing! Happy Birthday, sweet Matthew!! I saw the link to this message board posted on the Cyn By The Sea list so I had to drop by and say "Happy Birthday". I loved your work as the two Birkoff's on 'La Femme Nikita', and this last Sunday night I was fortunate enough to see you in 'Love and Human Remains' here in Australia. I hope you have/had a wonderful birthday in the company of friends and family.
