This is what's going on in the Dreambook of the Hairbrigade:
there's this guy nicknamed "me" and he wrote this:

Comments: First of all, I can not in any way even BEGIN to express how freakin' insane you, who started this mad site, are, whoever you are & all you who have contributed to it & helped perpetuated this ridiculousness about my good friend Matthew Ferguson. I grew up with Matt and what I just witnessed on your site made me continually say : "Oh my God!" over and over. In a way, its freakin' hilarious and he thought exactly that, at first, when I told him of it, but I was flabbergasted that there was some crazy fan out there that would do something like this. He of course, took it all in stride, because Matt's just a normal, down -to-earth Canadian kid who , by the way, IS NOT GAY!!!! sorry, all you flamers who were hopin', but he's my buddy, and you can all keep thinkin' yer fantasies, he doesn't care, but thats all that will ever be, cause, and sorry, girls, too, to tell ya, but he's pretty involved in a wonderful healthy relationship with a beautiful girl and has been for a while, but crazy fanatics like you will probably not even believe that cause you just dont want to. so whatever , we all had a great laugh about this when I showed it to him so thanks for that. He says its actually kind of a compliment and thats part of being an actor, even in Canada, he can still have his portion of crazy fans. But, look, if you really want to promote him and sing his praises as an actor, try talking about his natural, gifted acting ability, not his hair! And by the way, sorry to break your hearts, but they were hair extensions! and although he grew his hair long when we were kids (hey, it WAS the seventies), he's told me he never wants to have long hair again. So get a freakin life for crying out loud! Matt's just another struggling Canadian actor trying to have a good time and as flattered as he is by your craziness, if you manage to see him in person on the street one day and I'm there too, I'll be stepping in between the two of you cause I'm a little concerned you might try to pull a Jean Cretein on his ass, if ya know what I mean! But, what the hell do you care? Enjoy your crazy life!

Comments: Every once in a while I look up the web sites to see what the news on the street is about my brother.
Normally I just look over, and don't comment. However, some recent postings have really upset me and so I feel I must comment.
First, I am not sure who "me" was that posted such an angry message, but I can assure everyone here that Matt would not have supported such an angry message. In fact, some of the content makes me think it is not someone who actually knows Matt. For example, Matt did NOT wear hair extensions in Love and Human Remains. He wore his hair like that for a a couple of years way back when. Second, had Matt known about this persons posting, he would not have wanted any personal info like whether he was dating someone or not to be put on the site.
But what has me very upset is the recent postings about Matt having a twin brother that he doesn't know about, that was kidnapped, etc. To begin, Matt was not born 7 months early - it was 6. And he WAS NOT A TWIN. Yes our mother smoked, but later in life - she did not smoke while she was pregnant. While such comments might not mean a lot to you, it really hurt me to think that you were disparaging our mother, suggesting that the reason why Matt was a premie was because of something she did. Our mother was a wonderful, loving woman who thought the world of her kids and would NEVER do anything to hurt them. We lost our mother in 1999, and miss her terribly. I wouldask that you think twice before posting such things when you obviously know nothing about him, or don't know him well - to recognize what is or is not appropriate or hurtful.
Matt has known about this website for a couple of years - I told him about it. He laughed at the idea but had no ill comment about it. Matthew is a very generous and kind person. He understands that as an actor he is in the public eye, and is the subject of both men and women's affections, and he would not have condoned any disparaging comments to his fans.
For those who are intersted, Matt was most recently on 2 CBC shows that CBC pulled the plug on - they never seem to recognize good programming in my opinion....An American in Canada which has been over for a while now, and Snakes and Ladders which was cancelled about a year or so ago (as I live in the US now I don't get to see Canadian programming). I do know that you can currently catch him as one of the voices on Odd Job jack on either the cartoon network or comedy central - I can't remember which one- He's the voice of a DJ I believe. Keep an eye out for him though - you never know where he'll pop up next.

soooo, I don't think you should trust Me.
You never know who's speaking the truth in cyberspace, so perhaps Matt's sis isn't who she is either. But I kinda have the feelings she's telling the truth.
And another thing she wrote:

I also wanted to correct something I wrote - I meant to say matt was born AT 6 months, NOT 6 months early (3 months early).
