Mention of Matthew

I found some mention of him in the Now magazine from Toronto:

I couldn't quite get what this was about and if it means that Matthew was nominated as the best actor in some award.

Also, in a list of festivals and local events, this was listed for Friday, July 29, 2005:
"FRI 29 – The Toronto Island community celebrates the 25th anniversary of saving their homes from bulldozers with Shadowland Theatre's play The Bridge and a screening of the short film The Day Of The Bridge D: Matthew Ferguson. 7 pm. Ward's Island Clubhouse."
