I am posting this as some of us here have known Joyce Wolf, a leader of our La Femme Nikita fans community. This is the official message about her death:

Sad day for the LFN fan community
It is with tremendous sorrow that we deliver the sad news of Joyce Wolf's passing. Thursday, August 16, 2007 will now be for this community a day to remember a remarkable friend who will live in our collective souls forever.
We join Joyce's husband Tom, her daughter Megan, and granddaughter Allie, in praying that Joyce finds the peace that she so richly deserves in the company of those who left before her. The LFN fan community today is in mourning, having lost one of its founding blocks, and staunchest supporters. We cherished the memories left behind by this extraordinary soul, and take to heart the lessons she taught us then, and today.
Joyce was always the true definition of charity begins in the heart, and she taught us to see beyond the darkness. In addition, most of us understand today more than ever, that life is fleeting and full of surprises, and that we should be like Joyce and do good at every turn, and effectively turn the other cheek. Through Joyce/BlueWolfe's commitment to helping the children, drove her to manage tremendously successful fundraising campaigns that some may have emulated, but none will ever duplicate. Joyce left us much too soon, but having in her relatively short life accomplished to selflessly gather ye rose buds, even if sometimes she received thorns in return.
Joyce darling, we will convene again, and when we do, our journey will have come full circle. So rest for now our friend, use your favorite expressions freely, drink mudslides and laugh with the knowledge that you made a difference, that you left your thumb print, and that you were loved and appreciated. May god bless you and keep you, and we thank you for the honor of having allowed us to know such and incredible good heart. So long our friend, and as always, we remain your loyal friends.
'Till we meet again, LOVE AND HUGS.
If anyone feels so inclined, feel free to leave any remembrances, anecdotes or condolences here, as they will be incorporated into the scrapbook that we have been compiling that we will be giving to the family in October.
