There are some new pics from this movie, from a DVD released recently. The movie itself is from 94.
I thought the plot itself was thin (by the end I was thinking, that it?) but I liked some of the characters (beside Matthew), like his mother, and Spenser's partner Hawke. On the other hand I thought Spenser's love interest shrink was weak as an actress and totally lacking any charm (sorry for being bitchy). It's a classical private detective thriller.
Matthew is quite good in this role, he's believable as the troubled and a bit slow kid. It's long hair, but not yet as seductive as in Eclipse
